The dugout is nice. But my spring fell out. And my one hitter melted. Only using a bic lighter while smoking alone. The tip will no longer stay attached and I’m trying to decide on a replacement. I will probably order the aluminum one. More parts, more problems.

Love the concept but ive gone through 3 and all 3 break in the same spot, the hinge. In fairness they’ve been replaced at no charge everytime but I’m giving up this time

These spring one hitters are AmAzInG 👏 😍 They are so easy to use and clean. I have several colors. Rosewood, Maple, and Walnut are beautiful. Mine have the silver tips. I think I need to get the Bamboo with the black tip just to round out my collection 🤔 😅 They do fit perfectly in the Krypto-Kit pouch ! I use an alcohol pad to wipe out the tips when needed and those also tuck nicely into the Krypto-kit 👌 I occasionally wipe down the outside with some coconut oil to keep them looking shiny and the wood slick. I could use a few extra springs for the occasional replacement when I accidentally flick that spring into space putting in back together. 🤣 Perhaps some replacement parts would be great. I would so buy some extra parts to keep on hand. My couch likes to eat stuff never to be seen again. I can not tell you how many pokers are down in that stupid couch. 🛋 So yeah, go for it, get a couple of these. You won’t regret it !

I agree, great idea but it isn’t very convenient when you have issues like it spinning and while it is a good idea it isn’t user friendly like the one handed option ones. I’ve tried both these and the spring loaded wooden ones. This one requires 2 hands to twist eject the ash. The spring loaded ones are super easy to work with a dugout, a wooden box or the Krypto-Kit. I have 3 of the spring loaded wooden one and they are amazing ! They are easy to clean, I use alcohol pads to wipe the tips out and they fit well in the
Krypto-kit 😍 I love my little set up.

Disappointed in this hitter. Bought the dugout with the hitter from a local shop. After using the hitter a few times the connection between the metal tip and acrylic body became too hot and deformed. There is a metal lining on the inside of the hitter, except where the metal tip connects to the body. If the design is changed to have the metal tip screw into a metal body this would be a better product.
